My name is Dovydas Klimavicius. I am a professional artist. I was born in 1982 in a small European country called Lithuania that is on the Baltic Sea. Art surrounded me since I was a child. My mother Irena is a design teacher, my father Romas is a painter, and my brother Rokas is an advertisement designer.
I've been interested in art since my childhood. My biggest inspirations were my parents and books about art in our home library.
While studying at secondary school I felt I wanted to learn more about art, so I independently decided to enter a prestigious E. Balsys gymnasium in 1997 where I studied for 3 years and gained the basics of the fine arts. Later in 2001 I moved to the capital city Vilnius, entered art academy where I studied for 4 years and gained painting, sculpture, art history, drawing knowledge, I also studies human, animal anatomy, art history and philosophy and graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator),.
All the time I tried to travel to different foreign countries, to gain more experience and knowledge. I visited many European countries, most famous museums in Spain, Italy, Holland, England, and France where I had a possibility to explore real works of the most famous artists in the world and I'm always incorporating that experience into my own art works.
